Polished Yemenite Shofar
with Silver Plated Jerusalem
A Polished Yemenite Shofar decorated with the Star of David in silver plating with gold highlights. These shofars measure 35-37 inches | 90-95 cm along the outside of the spiral.
The Yemenite Shofar is made from the Kudo, a type of antelope, horn. The silver plating is beautifully hand applied after the shofar has been properly processed to kosher standards. This shofar is decorated with an image of the Old City of Jerusalem. Jerusalem has been sacred to the Jews since King David proclaimed it his capital in the 10th century BCE. Jerusalem was the site of Solomon's Temple and the Second Temple. It is mentioned in the Bible 632 times.
